Funeral services were held here Monday afternoon for Mrs. Emilie Pribnow, 89, a life-long resident of the community who died Thursday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Arthur Zimmerman. The aged lady had been ill for two weeks, and death was due to the infirmities of advanced age.
Mrs. Pribnow was born in town Theresa on Dec. 28, 1857, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Westphal. On Nov. 18, 1855 she was married to Herman Pribnow. They made their home on a farm in town Theresa until 1913 when they made their home with Mr. and Mrs. Zimmerman. Mr. Pribnow preceded his wife in death in 1922.
Surviving children are Mrs. Zimmermann of this city; Walter and Arthur Pribnow, town Theresa; and Alfred, Horicon. Thirteen grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren also remain. Two children, Mrs. William Runge and Louis preceded the mother in death.
