SIMPSON, BERNADETTE (Age 89)

Of Faulkner, MD on November 20, 2003 at her residence.

Predeceased by her parents James and Gertrude Tippett; husband, B. Franklin Simpson; four sisters and four brothers.

Survived by her children, Ellen (Guy) Cooksey, R. Anne (David) St. Clair, Mary Frances (Chester) Bowling, James F. (Eleanor) Simpson, Carolyn M. Simpson, Robert P. Simpson, J. Patricia (David) Finch, Edward C. (Helene) Simpson; sisters, Thelma Tennyson, Barbara Anne Lumpkins; brother, Bernard Tippett; 21 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren and seven great-great grandchildren and devoted caregivers, Delores Proctor and Catherine Watson.

Family will receive friends on Sunday, November 23 at the St. Mary's Newport Catholic Church, Charlotte Hall, MD. From 2 to 6 p.m. with 5 p.m. prayer service. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, November 24 at the church at 10 a.m., with a one-hour visitation prior the service. Interment will follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery, Bushwood, MD.

Memorials may be made to Spring Dell Center and St. Mary's Newport building fund.
