Colleen Ann Bremer, 72, passed away on Saturday, January 13, 2018 at St. Francis Hospital in Topeka, Kansas. She was born on September 7, 1945 in Seneca, Kansas, the daughter of Cletus and Jeanette Nolte Wichman. Colleen grew up in Holton and had lived near Lyndon for many years before moving to Topeka in 2017. Colleen graduated from Holton High School in 1963. She was a Homemaker and then a Saleswoman for Midway Wholesale in Topeka for several years. She was a member of the St. Patrick Catholic Church, enjoyed refinishing antique furniture, landscaping, antiquing and loved her grandchildren. On August 27, 1966 Colleen was married to Galen Bremer in Holton. Colleen is survived by her husband Galen of the home; her two daughters, Julie Bremer (Mark Noble) of Topeka and Jill Engle (Kirk) of Cottonwood Falls; her brother, Max Wichman (Therese) of Topeka; and two grandchildren, Kaylee and Brett. Funeral services for Colleen will be held at 2:00pm on Wednesday, January 17 at the Feltner Funeral Chapel in Lyndon. The family will receive friends from 1:00pm until service time at the chapel. Burial will be in the Lyndon Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital, sent in care of the funeral home.
