MRS. LENA LIEFKE
Mrs. Lena Lindow Liefke, 78, of 433 Houston St., Ripon, died at 9 p.m. Monday at her home of an apparent heart attack.
Born in Green Lake County Jan. 5, 1889, she was the daughter of William and Marie Salzwedel Lindow. She was educated at Green Lake, had lived in the Towns of Green Lake and Ripon and for the past 37 years in Ripon. She was married Sept. 28, 1910, to Edward Liefke.
Mrs. Liefke is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Edgar Siedschlag, Appleton, Mrs. Lawrence Briske, Phoenix, Ariz., and Mrs. Earl Hammen, Ripon; two brothers, Frank Lindow, Oshkosh, and George Lindow, Ripon; and eight grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband.
Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at Our Saviours United Church of Christ, Ripon, Rev. E. E. Schieler and Rev. Harley Tretow officiating. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Ripon.
Friends may call from 4 p.m. Wednesday until 11 a.m. Thursday at the Butzin Funeral Home, Ripon, and thereafter at the church.
