Rosemarie (Lawrence) Haas, age 89, of West Lafayette, went to be with her Lord and Savior on January 20, 2018 at home, surrounded by her loving family.

She was born in Minneapolis, MN on June 16, 1928 to the late Frank and Rosella (Heimann) Lawrence. She graduated from Roosevelt High School in Minneapolis and attended the University of Minnesota & the MacPhail School of Music. In 1953 in Minneapolis, she married the love of her life, Dr. Charles Haas, who preceded her in death on February 2, 1999.

Rosemarie was an Administrative Assistant to the head of University of Minnesota Medical School and the Fiscal Accounts Clerk for the Veteran Administration in St. Paul. She was a member the Newcomers Women's Club, St. Elizabeth Auxiliary, Ladies of Charity, and one of the founding members of the Church of the Blessed Sacrament. She enjoyed playing the piano, reading, and traveling.

She is survived by one son; two daughters; one brother; nine grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and her cat, Tabby.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 46 years, Dr. Charles Haas; daughter, Karen Arth; grandson, Robert Arth; and brothers, Donald Lawrence and Walter Lawrence.
