Nicole is the daughter of Mike and Frances Carter. She was the widow of John Lincoln Forsythe, the Actor.
In high school, Nicole worked weekends at Disneyland. After high school graduation, she majored in Education at UCLA and graduated with a degree in Teaching.

After she graduated from College, she went to Beverly Hills in her powder blue Classic 1968 Ford Mustang. She became a Court Reporter and built her own Court Reporting Agency called Nicole Carter & Associates. She had this business on The Avenue of the Stars in Century City for more than thirty - five years.

The story goes that she met her future husband, John Forsythe, at The Hollywood Turf Club. With great confidence, she introduced herself, shook his hand, then told him he was the most handsome man she had ever seen. They were married in the Ballard Country Church in July of 2002.

Nicole and John had a great life together. Her Sister, John's children, and grandchildren miss her dearly. They miss her friendship, amazing clever wit, astonishing generosity, her natural beauty, and much-admired sense of style.
