Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday, June 16, at Runge Mortuary Chapel in Davenport with Rev. Joshua D. Reimche officiating. Burial will be in the Davenport Memorial Park Cemetery, Davenport, Iowa.
Earl Harry Lilienthal was born February 8, 1927, in Scott County, the son of Harry and Edna (Gollnitz) Lilienthal. He proudly served in the United States Army. He married Eleanor (Glaser) Schnack on May 28, 1960, in Davenport. He farmed most of his life near New Liberty. In addition to farming, he worked for R.R. Schneider Corp. Over the years, he was also a truck driver for various local companies. He enjoyed dancing, traveling, visiting with people and spending time on the farm.
Surviving are his wife, Eleanor; one daughter, Denise (Jim) Petz of Blue Grass; one son, Kevin Lilienthal of New Liberty; two step-sons, Ronald Schnack of Davenport and Randy (Edie) Schnack of Eldridge; two sisters, Marian Lilienthal of Davenport and Elaine Sorgenfrey of Durant; one sister-in-law, Lois Lilienthal of Tipton; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, Bernice Freese and Lois Burmeister and two brothers, Eldon Lilienthal and Kenneth Lilienthal.
