Moved with her parents to the Conrad area to homestead. Attended local schools. Married Vernon Venetz Oct. 2, 1935, in Conrad. The couple farmed south of Conrad for several years before moving to town in 1941.

Survivors include her husband; two daughters, Carol Schmidt of Fairfield, Virginia Hagen of Shelby; two sons, Wayne and Virgil both of Conrad; a sister and three half-sisters, Ida Puzon of Yuma, AZ, Emilia Butler of Washington, Elma Frank of Victor, and Laura Myers of North Bend, WA; 12 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
