Mrs. Johannah Foos
GARFIELD — Mrs. Johannah Foos, 73, resident here since 1906, died Tuesday afternoon at the Scott County Hospital in Scott City where she had been a patient eight days. She was bom Jan. 1, 1888, in Milberger in Russell County. She was a member of the Methodist Church. Her husband Phillip died in 1944.
Survivors are two daughters, Mrs. Homer Richard, Johnson, and Mrs. Claude Summers, Scott City; five brothers, John and August Keil, both of Conrad, Mont., Henry, Missoula, Mont., Leslie, Canonville, Ore., and Jake, Tucson, Ariz.; three sisters, Mrs. Amelia Butler, Seattle, Wash., Mrs. Lora Meyers, Snowqualine, Wash., and Mrs. Elma Frank, Missouli, Mont.; two half-sisters, Mrs. Ida Puzon, Great Falls, Mont., and Mrs. Alice Venetz, Conrad, Mont., and six grandchildren.
Funeral will be at 2:30 p.m. Friday at the Methodist church. Rev. R.J. Gotschall will officiate. Burial will be in the Garfield Cemetery.
