On Monday, April 3, 2006, singing Angels came and gently carried Julia to God's Heavenly Garden. She was 90.
Born March 2, 1916, to Joseph and Anna (Csibor) Vegh, she resided in Green. She was preceded in death by her steadfast husband of 51 years, Louis, and son, William, who both passed away in 1986; infant sister, Anna; sister and brother-in-law, Mary and George Ohm of Cuyahoga Falls; brother and sister-in-law, Joe and Eileen Vegh of Corpus Christi, Texas; and her pet kitty, Corky.
Julia is survived by her devoted daughter, Dianna Spencer; loving grandchildren, Kara (David) Carnessali-Naylor, Joseph Papasodaro, and Marc (Rosie) Papasodaro; great-granddaugh-ters, Claire, Claudia, and Lexi; great-great-grandchild, Gabriel; many beloved nephews and nieces; her loving friend and companion, Martin Merritt of Green; 10 godchildren, and a multitude of friends and neighbors.
She was a member of Queen of Heaven Catholic Church, the Hungarian-American Club and their Ladies Guild, the Culture Club, and the William Penn Society. She had been secretary of the Akron Dandelions, and an active member of the Democratic Party.

Please join our family at calling hours on Thursday from 5 to 8 p.m. and Friday from 9:30 to 10:15 a.m. at the Anthony and Biscan Funeral Home, 4178 Massillon Rd. (corner of Steese and Massillon roads in the City of Green). Funeral services will be held Friday, 10:15 a.m., at the funeral home, and at 10:30 a.m. at Queen of Heaven Catholic Church, 1800 Steese Rd., Green, Ohio 44685, Rev. Fr. David Durkee officiating. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery.
