"BERNARD F. ROTTINGHAUS SUMMONED BY DEATH
DECEASED WAS RESIDENT OF RICHMOND FOR OVER SEVENTY YEARS
Bernard F. Rottinghaus 79 years of age, died at his home 1317 South J. street at 11 o'clock Monday morning.

Mr. Rottinghaus came to this city an immigrant from Germany, at the age of six, and has lived here ever since. He was, at one time, one of the leading brick makers in this part of the state.

Mr. Rottinghaus was one of the oldest members of St. Andrew's church, having belonged there for 73 years. He had also been a member of St. Joseph's Benevolent Society for 59 years and was the only surviving member of the Golden Jubilee of the organization.

He is survived by his widow, nine children, Mrs. Mary Mull, Mrs. Margaret Brown, Catherine, Clara, Edward, Charles and Benjamin Rottinghaus; two sisters, and one great grandchild.

The funeral will be held Thursday morning at nine o'clock at St. Andrew's church. Rev. Father Roell will have charge of the services. Burial will be in St. Andrew's cemetery."
