Beatrice D. Rodriguez, 85, of Sunnyside passed away on Wednesday, Jan. 21, 2015, in Yakima.

She was born March 10, 1929 to Jose and Cruz Delgado. She was born and raised in Madisonville, Texas where she married Manuel Rodriguez and began a family together.

She loved being a stay-at-home mother, reading, crossword puzzles and puzzles. She is gone but not forgotten and forever in our hearts.

She is survived by her three sons, George, Frank and Robert Garcia; five daughters, Julie Ann Garcia, Linda Noyola, Laura Trujillo, Lydia Rodriguez and Lizabeth Rodriguez; two brothers, Joseph and Jesus Delgado; four sisters, Julia Delgado, Virginia Duran, Lucy Campos and Josephine Garcia; 16 grandchildren and 15+ great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Cruz and Jose Delgado, and her sister, Maria Sanchez.

Viewing and visitation will be Monday, Jan. 26, 2015, from 4 to 8 p.m. with the recital of the Holy Rosary at 6 p.m. at Valley Hills Funeral Home in Sunnyside. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday, Jan. 27, 2015, at 10 a.m. at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Sunnyside. Graveside services will be held at Lower Valley Memorial Gardens in Sunnyside following Mass. A reception will be held at St. Joseph’s gymnasium after the graveside services.
