Edward Badura, 95, of the Town of Poughkeepsie, passed away on October 7, 2016 at his home. He was born in Ashuelot, N.H. on October 24, 1920, the son of Roch & Maria Badura. When he was 2 years old he went back to Poland where he grew and was educated. He returned to the U.S. in the late 1940's.
Edward married Eleanor Jarosz on July 15, 1950 in St. Joseph's Church in Poughkeepsie, NY. She predeceased him on July 9, 2015.
He was employed for 32 years at IBM in Poughkeepsie, NY as an Expediter and retired in 1983.
He was a member of St. Joseph's Church in Poughkeepsie, NY and sang and played violin for the Golden Age Singers in Poughkeepsie, NY.
Survivors include his sons: John E.(Teresa) Badura of Hopewell Jct., NY; James Badura of Wappinger Falls, NY; Thomas Badura of Carmel, NY; and granddaughter: Robyn Badura.
