Squadron Leader Michael Kutyn passed away peacefully January 3rd, 2018 at the age of 95.
Michael is survived by loving wife Helen (Couturier); children John (Debbie), Neil (Silke Otremba), Blaine (Kerri), Greg (Cindy), Karen (Bob Gregg) and Michelle (Anthony Green); grand-children Jennifer, Holly, Jessie, Shaylynn, Nikki, Chelsea, Kylie, Kodie, Shelby, Ashley, Mikala, Anthony, Stephen, Heather, Santi, Sebi and five great grand-children.
Survived by brother Joe, predeceased by parents Nicolaus and Julia; brothers Marshall, John and sister Mary (Jan Valastin).
Michael joined the R.C.A.F. in 1941. He served with the R.A.F 10 Squadron and was awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross. Michael joined 418 City of Edmonton Squadron in 1949.
The family wishes to express their thanks to the medical staff at the Sturgeon Hospital and the Citadel West for Michael’s care.
