• she had many hobbies.

• after her husband passed away in 2005 she continue to reside at their home for 4 years, at which time she moved in with her daughter until 2016 when she went to Surf Lodge Nursing Home.
• While at Surf Lodge, she sang to all the workers, interacted with all the staff and enjoyed all events that the Lodge participated in and was loved by all the residents and staff alike.
• was survived by a son; a daughter; 3 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; & a half-sister
• she was predeceased by her husband, Hilton Welsford Acker; brothers, Cyril, Foreman, Harold, Everett and sister, Pauline; son, Rodger, daughters, Linda and Jane; son-in-law, Roland Williams.
