Funeral services for Shaun Ryan Rainbolt, 32, of Charlestown, IN, will be held at 11 AM on Friday, May 25, 2018 at Hursttown United Methodist Church, 658 Sky Aire Road NE, Corydon, Indiana, with burial to follow in Hursttown Cemetery. Visitation will be held prior to the service on Friday from 10-11 AM at the church and on Thursday from 5-8 PM at Scott Funeral Home, 2515 Veterans Parkway in Jeffersonville. He passed away on Monday, May 21, 2018 at his home.
Shaun was born on August 15, 1985 in Jeffersonville, IN, to the late Timothy Floyd Rainbolt and Sharon Lynn Rainbolt. He was currently working as an organ perfusionist for Kentucky Organ Donor Affiliate, was an avid outdoorsman and a proud Eagle Scout. He enjoyed rock climbing, kayaking, hunting and guns.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandparents, Elmer Floyd Rainbolt; and Mary and Earl Justice.
He is survived by his three children, Jayla Marie Wenning, Ella Grace McCarty-Rainbolt, Timothy Ryan Rainbolt Jr.; a sister, Brittany Tyler (Chris); half-brother, Gavinn Alstott; grandmother, Virginia Sue Rainbolt; two uncles, David Rainbolt (Beth), Mike Rainbolt (Diana); and ex-wife- Natasha Rainbolt.
