Mrs. Anna Margaretha Bauer was born on 2 June 1888 in *Popovka Chuter, Russia. She was the daughter of Jakob Pfeif and his wife Anna Margaretha Hartung. She married Heinrich Bauer in Frank, Russia on 29 January 1909. In 1913 they both came to American and from that time on they lived in Hastings, Neb., where they were faithful members of the First German Congregational Church. This couple was blessed with two children in the old country, and three children were born in America. Sister Bauer called the home above on 9 February of this year. She reached the age of 29 years, 8 months, and 7 days. She leaves behind her husband, Heinrich Bauer, and her five children; her parents, two sisters and one brother in the old country; one sister in Greeley, Colo.; two grandchildren, her father's brother at Ft. Morgan, Colo., and also many friends and acquaintances. The funeral was at Hastings, Neb. on 12 February at 2 o'clock in the afternoon. Text: John 21, 1-8.
