Meta P. Haire, 89, of Oshkosh died Monday morning, March 12, 1990, in Mercy Medical Center. She was born Dec. 18, 1900, in Oshkosh, the daughter of Charles and Pauline Kemnitz Zippel. Meta was a member of Christ Lutheran Church.
Her survivors include a niece, Ellen Reed; a grandniece, Mrs. Jeff(Susan) Lemiesz, and two grandnephews, Jim and Brian Reed, all of Oshkosh; and a special friend, Betty Pfeiffer of Florida. She was preceded in death by a nephew, Clinton Reed.
Graveside services and burial were held at Riverside Cemetery with the Rev. C. Richard Becker officiating. A memorial has been established..
