Charles Otto Zippel, 84, of Milwaukee, former Oshkosh resident, died at Milwaukee at 8:15 o'clock this morning from infirmities due to his advanced age.
Born in Germany, Sept 9. 1867, he lived In this city from 1871 to 1935 when he moved to Milwaukee. On May 17, 1890 he married Miss Pauline Kemnitz who preceded him in death in 1927,
Surviving are two sons, Edwin and Albert, both of Oshkosh; two daughter, Mrs. Clara Zimmerman and Mrs. Meta Haire of Milwaukee; one grandchild; and two sisters, Mrs. Bertha Saft of Oshkosh and Mrs. Fredericka Hague of Chilton.
Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock Wednesday afternoon at Konrad funeral home, the Rev. Theodore Irion officiating. Interment will be in Riverside cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from Tuesday afternoon until the hour of service.
