Obituary of Elena Krueger
Elena Krueger, 85, of Howell Township passed away on Tuesday, June 15, 2021 at Ocean Medical Center, Brick. She was born in Russia, emigrated to the United States in 1950 living in New York City, and settled to Howell in 1960. Elena worked for many years as a travel agent for Sunrise Travel in Brick and was a devoted member at St. Alexander Nevsky Russian Orthodox Cathedral.
She was predeceased by her beloved husband of 64 years, Herman Krueger; and sister, Lidia Serge. Elena is survived by her son, Michael Krueger and his wife, Olga of East Brunswick; daughter, Nina Rjedkin and her husband, Boris of Jackson; four grandchildren, Alexander Krueger and his fiancée, Aleksandra Mallon, Gregory Krueger and his wife, Hailey, Elizabeth Rjedkin, and Nicholas Rjedkin; and great-granddaughter, Elaina.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend services. Panihida will be served at St. Alexander Nevsky Russian Orthodox Cathedral, 200 Alexander Avenue, Howell on Thursday, June 17, 2021 at 6:00 PM. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 AM on Friday, June 18, 2021 at the Cathedral. Interment will follow in St. Vladimir's Russian Orthodox Cemetery, 316 Cassville Road, Jackson.
