Marie Held
Marie M. Held, 85, of Greeley died Sunday, June 23, at North Colorado Medical Center.
She was born March 4, 1911, in Grover to John and Katherine (Schlitt) Klaus.
On July 28, 1929, she married Henry Held in Windsor.
Mrs. Held was reared in Bracewell and attended high school in Windsor. She was a homemaker and worked for a number of years at Clough's Furniture Store. She retired in 1975 from the Weld County Clerk's office.
Mrs. Held was a member of the Faith United Church of Christ in Windsor.
Survivors are her husband, Henry Held of Greeley; a son, Clifford Held of Port Richey, Fla.; two grandchildren, Kathleen Held of Fallbrook, Calif., and Ronald Held of Columbia, S.C.; and three great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Adamson Memorial Chapel. Interment will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens.
Friends may visit from 7-8 p.m. Wednesday at Adamson Mortuary.
Contributions may be made to the Faith United Church of Christ in care of the mortuary.
