LUEKE - Mrs. Nettie Lueke, 78, of 1580 29th Avenue, died Thursday at the Columbus Manor. Services will be 11 a.m. Monday at the Federated Church.
The body will lie in state after 2:30 p.m. Sunday at the Gass-Haney Funeral home and from 10-11 a.m. Monday at the church. Burial will be in the Columbus cemetery.
The daughter of Charles and Anna Mouden Ostrander, she was born Aug. 6, 1894 in Nance County and attended Nance County Schools. She was married to Emil H. Lueke Jan. 6, 1915 in Columbus and they celebrated their golden wedding anniversary January, 1965. A long-time resident of Columbus she was a member of the Order of Eastern Star, American Legion Auxiliary, Federated Church and an honor member of the Union Pacific Old Timer's Club.
Survivors include two grandchildren, James Dean Larsen of Lincoln, Diane Darlene Dye of Lincoln; a great-grandchild, Christopher Dye of Lincoln, and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, a son, Carroll, five brothers and a sister.
