Mary Ann Traynor

Plainfield, IL - Mary Ann Traynor, 98 of Plainfield, IL, passed away on December 3, 2017. Mary Ann was born March 4, 1919, in Freeport, MN. She was the daughter of John A. and Anna (Kochmann) Pfau.

Mary Ann worked as a surgical nurse until her marriage to Fred V. Traynor on Dec. 13, 1945. She was active in the Daughters of Isabella and very involved in her church, Holy Angels, St. Cloud, and often assisted the Poor Clare Sisters of Sauk Rapids driving them to various appointments outside the Cloister. Mary Ann loved her children and enjoyed golf, bowling and playing cards.

She was preceded in death by her husband Fred, children Thomas and Elizabeth Traynor.

Mary Ann is survived by son John (Antoinette) Traynor, and daughters Mary (Craig) Lent and Jayne (Frank) Rose; 7 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren.

A service of Christian Memorial will be held in the spring of 2018 at St. Mary's Cathedral in St. Cloud MN, followed by interment at Assumption Cemetery.
