Jeffrey Joseph Reichert, age 56 of Riley, passed away Tuesday, August 21, 2018 at his residence.

He was born on August 16, 1962 in Manhattan, the son of Ralph Joseph and Betty Sue (Miller) Reichert.

On June 5, 1993, he was married to Trish Lynn Robinson. She survives of the home. Jeff was an auto body restorer and mechanic and owned Jeff’s Auto in Riley. He was a vast collector of cars and loved restoring old cars. He enjoyed fishing and farming and his animals.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons, Brett Reichert and his wife Hannah of Emporia and Dillon Reichert of Emporia; one daughter, Rachelle Reichert of Riley; one brother, Ralph Reichert, Jr. and five sisters, Carol Sinning of Hiawatha, Cathy Gabay of Abilene, Connie Brunner of Abilene, Donna Nanninga of Abilene and Nancy Frank of Ohio.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, August 25, 2018 at the Anderes-Pfeifley Funeral Home with Pastor Kevin Larson officiating. The family will receive friends from 7:00 until 8:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Riley Cemetery.

Memorials have been established for the Children’s Education Fund and the T. Russell Reitz Animal Shelter. Contributions may be left in care of the Anderes-Pfeifley Funeral Home.
