Albert H. Krumland, 75, died September 6, 1981 at Columbus Community Hospital.

Services at Immanuel Lutheran Church with the Rev. M. W. Goldhammer and the Rev. Roland Jank officiating. Gass-Haney Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Krumland, son of Adolph and Mary (Michaelson) Krumland, was born October 3, 1905 in Platte County near Columbus. He was educated at Immanuel North School and Platte County District 10 School. He married Gertruce Fahnrich June 22, 1927 at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Columbus. He was a lifetime resident of the Columbus Area and a jobber for Skelly Oil Company.
Krumland was a 50-year member of Columbus Fire Department; a member of Nebraska Petroleum Marketers and Immanuel Lutheran Chruch; and a former member of the Columbus City Council, Platte County Board of Supervisors and Rotary Club.

Survivors include his wife, Gertrude, Columbus; one daughter, Marilyn (Arlo) Hoppe, Schuyler; one son, Carroll Krumland, Columbus; five grandchildren; one
great-grandchild; four sisters, Edna Pope, Columbus, Esther Zaiser, Midvale, Utah; Helen Selleck, Layton, Utah; Eleanor Meck, Omaha.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Lillian Miller and Grace Krumland.
