He was born Feb. 19, 1877, in Schafer, Russia, son of Mr. and Mrs. Martin Kramer. He came to this country in 1913, and settled in Sheboygan county.
While in Russia, he was married to Mary Goldmann, who preceded him in death here.
On Oct. 10, 1927, he was married to Mrs. Dorothy Hermann.
He had been employed at the Kohler company for the past 25 years. He was a member of the Bethany Lutheran church of Kohler, the Volga Aid society, and the Kohler Sick and Benefit society.
The body may be viewed at Ballhorn Funeral Temple from this evening until Thursday noon, when it will be removed to the Bethany Lutheran church at Kohler. Services in charge of Rev. Albert Huber, will be held there at 2 o'clock Thursday, and burial will be made in the Lutheran cemetery of Sheboygan.
Survivors are his wife, five children, Mrs. Edward Klunk, Sheboygan Falls, Christ Kramer, Mrs. Andrew Lofy, Mrs. Joseph Lorier, all of Sheboygan and Miss Emily Kramer, of Chippewa Falls; seven stepchildren, Alex Hermann, and Mrs. John Kraus, Chicago, Mrs. David Kraus, Kohler, Mrs. Nicholas Borath, Sheboygan, Miss Pauline, Miss Elvira, and Adam Hermann, all of Kohler. Nine grandchildren and a sister and brother, Mrs. Jacob Knaub and Gottlieb Kramer, both of Sheboygan, also survive him.
