Born Aug. 3, 1907, In Schafer, Russia, Christ was a son of the late Jacob and Marie Kramer. He came to Sheboygan in 1912.
On Sept. 3, 1938, he married Kathryn Mary Strains in the parsonage of St. John's Ev. and Reformed Church in Sheboygan. The couple celebrated their golden wedding anniversary in 1988.
Mr. Kramer worked at Kohler Co. for 38 years, most recently In the Brass Division. He was a member of the Kohler Quarter Century Club. Mr. Kramer also worked part-time at Sheboygan Memorial Medical Center for 15 years. Christ was a life-long member of Our Redeemer Lutheran Church and formerly served as an elder, usher and teller.
He is survived by his wife, Kathryn; eight children, Ronald (Karin) Kramer, Sheboygan; Judith (Lawrence) Schroeder, Omaha, Neb.; William (Janet) Kramer, Plymouth, Wis.; Mary (Otto) Bennlg, Eilsworth, Wis.; Doris (John) Sager, Sheboygan; Phyllis (Robert) Hoopman, Boston, Mass.; Rosalyn (Michael) Speckmann, Sheboygan Falls and Robert (Tina) Kramer, Sheboygan; 25 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren and one step-sister, Elva (Bill) Dortman, Sheboygan; one aunt, Mrs. Elizabeth Brock, of Sheboygan and nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
The funeral service will be at 11 a.m., Monday, Dec. 7, 1992, at Lutheran Church of Our Redeemer, 3027 Kohler Memorial Dr., with the Rev. H. William Jordan, pastor, officiating. Interment will be In Lutheran Cemetery. Friends may call at the church on Sunday, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. and on Monday, from 9 a.m. until the time of services.
