Actor. Born in Winnipeg, Canada in 1921. During World War II, he served in the Royal Canadian Artillery. He studied at Yale University, and graduated with a Masters of Fine Arts. In 1956 he moved to Hollywood where he appeared in films, including; A Bridge Too Far (1977), Follow The Boys, We Joined The Navy, Fireball- XL5 (Voice), and Captain Scarlet (Voice). In 1961 he was in England where he appeared on various television shows, like The Saint, UFO, Randall & Hopkirk (Deceased), Emmerdale Farm, among many others, and in 1966 he joined "Coronation Street" as 'Steve Tanner', (Elsie Tanners wartime sweetheart) and remained with the series until his characters was killed off in 1970. Paul appeared on stage in Othello, Grass Roots. and The Caine Mutiny Court Martial with Charlton Heston. He died on 19 December 1991 at the age of seventy.
