When you lay this mortal by I wonder just how high you'll fly. Could it be just yesterday we laughed and sang, you showed the way. Or was it just a space in time and now we've got a hill to climb. I wonder how the Lord above can shower with His constant love. You and me and all the rest yes this is life, it is a test. So when our time is finished here, we'll draw our strength from memories dear. And now the time we've had to share was but a gift from Father who cares. Yes, separated we may be for time, but not eternity because it seems quite clear to me. His love will set us free.
