Winnifred M. Weber, age 81, of 2350 South 23rd St., Manitowoc, died Friday, Feb. 1, 2008, at Aurora Medical Center, Two Rivers.

Winnifred was born Jan. 28, 1927, in Manitowoc, daughter of the late Ervin and Myrtle Hanstedt Weber. She attended schools in Manitowoc and graduated with the class of 1945 from Lincoln High School. Winnifred worked for Park Lawn Home in Manitowoc as a CNA for many years until her retirement.

Survivors include nine children: Constance Tonn, Sheboygan; David Somers, Las Vegas; Laura (Clarence) Williams, Tucson, Ariz.; Richard (Linda) Brinkman-Somers, West Bend; Joyce (Wayne) Rindt, Kohler; Sandra Schulze, Tucson, Ariz.; Gerald (Karen) Somers, Waterford; Kathryn Castellono, Manitowoc; and Mary (Andy) Bernot, Sheboygan; 19 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren; and one sister and brother-in-law: Elaine (Ervin) Krizek, Two Rivers. Nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. She was preceded in death by her parents; one son: Gregory Somers; two grandchildren: Shannon and Jordan; and one sister and brother-in-law: Carol and Alvin Osciezanek.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 5, at the Jens Family Funeral Home & Crematory, 1122 S. Eighth St., Manitowoc. The Rev. Marcia Solberg will officiate. Burial will take place at Evergreen Cemetery. Relatives and friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday, Feb. 4, at the Jens Family Funeral Home & Crematory, Manitowoc. Visitation will continue from 10 a.m. until the time of service at 11 a.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home.
