Joseph Vanfeldt, 71, died at his home, 530 North Sardou street, Thursday night.
Formerly a resident of Victoria, Kans., Mr. Vonfeldt had lived in Topeka a short while.
Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Jacob Burghart, of Aurora, Ill., Mrs. Michael P. Hefner, of Topeka, Miss Barbara Vonfeldt, of the home address; and two sons, Andrew J. Vonfeldt of Victoria, Nicholas Vonfeldt, Beloit.
Funeral services will be held at the St. Joseph Catholic Church Monday evening at 9 o'clock. Burial will be in Mount Calvary Cemetery. The body will lie in state at the home of the daughter, Mrs. Michael P. Hefner, 526 North Sardou avenue, until the time of the funeral.
