Kate Brandt married Julius Koinm in Harris County, Texas February 10, 1889. She married Charles Kinzbach Sr. January 12, 1894 at the Erste Deutsche Evangelische Lutherische Kirche in Houston, Harris County Texas; and died one year later. She was the step-mother of seven Kinzbach children: Charles Jr, Augusta, Edward, Frank, William, Annie, and Alfred Kinzbach, all born in Houston, Texas, between 1873 and 1886. She died January 12, 1895 and was the second Mrs. Kinzbach buried in the Charles Kinzbach plot in Washington Cemetery, Houston.
