Daughter of Daniel Frederick Kohlhoff and Marion Margaret Murray, born in Tanjore (Thanjavur), Tamil Nadu. She was sister to the missionaries Amelia Dorothy Baker, née Kohlhoff, wife of Henry Baker, who are interred nearby (Memorial ID: 194016406).

She had one son, John Daniel Munro, and four daughters. Amelia Maria and Catherine Anne both died in Islington, London, in October 1846; Matilda Margaret may have died in 1861 in India; and Theodosia Alexandrina, who married surgeon Alexander Prince Petman (1835-1900) in Cottayam in 1862, died in Marylebone in 1889.

Matilda (Tilly) may have died in childbirth: on Theodosia's tombstone (billiongraves.com/grave/person/1277964) her birth date is given as October 10th 1841, five months after Tilly's death, so perhaps this was a christening date.
