John loved music and had a rich bass voice. He sang with the Catholic Male Chorus and various church choirs and high school choruses and operettas. He sang in a quartet that produced an advertising jingle that aired on WHBL radio in the 1950s. John also loved cars and knew the specs and reliability on almost every car ever manufactured. He gladly shared his knowledge with others who were looking to purchase a reliable vehicle.
John is survived by three sisters; Joan Schnettler of Appleton, Esther (Robert) Vadnais of Woodstock, IL, and Frances Bigari of Grafton, a sister-in-law Mary Bersch of Mequon, and many loving nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers; Charles, Frederick, and Dennis, and a sister Mary Belle Werner.
