Funeral services for Alvern George Kippes, three-year old son of Mr. and Mrs. George J. Kippes, Route 2, who died Tuesday night in a local hospital, will be held at 8 o'clock Friday morning at the St. Joseph Catholic Church.
Burial will be in Mount Calvary Cemetery. Friends may see the body at the Brennan Funeral Home after 2 o'clock this afternoon.
He was born December 11, 1940 in Topeka.
Besides his parents, he is survived by one sister, Geneva Kippes of the home, and a grandmother, Mrs. Frank Whittman, St. Peter, Kan.
The boy was severely burned playing with matches while his parents were doing chores at their farm home.
