We regret to announce the death of Sir Robert Brisco, Bart., the senior magistrate for Cumberland, who died at the family residence at Crofton Hall, near Carlisle, on Tuesday night, after a short illness, in the 77th year of his age. (Various newspapers, Dec. 25-27, 1877)
Sir Robert was the 3rd Baronet, inheriting the title upon the death, in 1862, of his father, Sir Wastell Brisco, the second baronet.
