Carl Arnbrister, 64, died this morning in a local hospital after a long illness.

A native of Russia, Mr. Arnbrister had lived in California 41 years, and in Madera three years. He was a member of the Fourth St. Church of God.

Surviving are his wife Mary, Madera; five sons, Jacob and Paul, both Fresno; John. Madera; Daniel, Oregon and Jonas. Washington; seven daughters, Mrs. Catherine Furtado and Mrs. Ruth Williams, both Kerman; Mrs. Esther Watts and Mrs. Rachel McNair, Fresno; Mrs. Rosie Curry and Mrs. Rebecca Eaton, both Oregon and Miss Tobeia Arnbrister, Pacific Warner College in Portland, Ore., 25 grandchildren, two brothers, William, Watsonville and Jacob, Soledad; three sisters, Mrs. Mary Koenig and Mrs. Millie Haines, Fresno and Mrs. Rose Strakbein, Roque.

Funeral services will be held Monday at 10 a.m. in the Fourth St. Church of God. Burial will be in Arbor Vitae Cemetery. Friends may send a donation to the Church Scholarship fund if they desire.
