Daughter of Andrzej and Rozalie Olkiewicz. Johanna immigrated to the USA with her father and brother, Antoni, in 1892.

Mother of Walter Herman Zielasko, Michael Zielasko, John Zielasko, Frank Joseph Zielasko, Stephania Zielasko Anns, Theresa Zielasko, Chester Zielasko, Edward Joseph Zielasko, and Helen Ann Zielasko Olrich.

After the death of her first husband, Joanna married Joseph King on September 11, 1918.

“JOANNA ZIELASKO
Mrs. Joanna Zielasko, 97, of 22 E. Carbon St., Minersville, died at 10:40 Friday - night at York Terrace Nursing Home where she was a guest since July. She had previously been hospitalized and in ill health for two years.

Mrs. Zielasko was born in Poland, July 11, 1875, daughter of the late Anthony and Rose Mager Olkiewicz. She was the oldest member and one of the founders of St. Stanislaus Church, Minersville. She was the last of her immediate family.

Her husband Julian, died in 1915.

Surviving are three sons, Walter, with whom she lived; John L., Minersville; Edward, Las Vegas, Nev.: two daughters, Helen, wife of Dr. Frank M. Olrich, Auburn, California; Stephanie, wife of Roy Anns, Minersville; 11 grandchildren, and a number of great-grandchildren.

The funeral will be held Tuesday morning at the convenience of the family from the Weissinger Funeral Home, Minersville. Mass of Resurrection will be celebrated in St. Stanislaus Church. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.”
