Anna Diekhoff, 98, of Independence, Missouri, formerly of Hannibal, MO passed away at 12:26 PM Sunday, December 9, 2018 at the Villages of Jackson Creek in Independence, MO.
Funeral Services will be at 12:00 PM Friday, December 14, 2018 at the James O'Donnell Funeral Home in Hannibal. Rev. Eric Carlson will officiate. Burial will be at Grand View Burial Park in Hannibal.
There will be no visitation.
Anna was born July 12, 1920, in Lachowskie, Poland to Tomasz Stasiak and Agnieszka Augustyniak Stasiak.
She was married to Erich Diekhoff on March 29, 1939 in Beelitz, Germany. He preceded her in death.
Survivors include 3 children, Hans Diekhoff (Ruth Ann), Joachim Diekhoff and Egon Diekhoff (Marcia),1 grandchild, Brian Diekhoff (Jessica) and 3 great grandchildren, Ava, Lanie and Gage.
Anna is preceded in death by her parents, 2 sisters, Marianna Lemanscy and Veronika Mazur and 1 brother, Stanistaw Stasiak.
Anna was a homemaker, an excellent seamstress, and baked the most delicious mocha torte. She loved the outdoors -- vegetable gardening, caring for her flowers, picking blueberries and going mushroom hunting. Most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family.
