James Damon, born in 1881, Jim Damon was another son of Tadeezbaa’ and Anson Damon, and a younger brother of Charles Damon and Nellie Damon Black. He was schooled at Hampton Institute. For two years in the 1920s, he had a small store at Divide east of Window Rock. He served on the Navajo Tribal Council, 1928-1932.
