After a wonderful life of 93 years, our mother peacefully transitioned into her eternal life with our Lord and her heavenly family. Ruth C. Kiebler of Monroe, died at 7 p.m. in her home on Tuesday, Christmas Day 2018.

Born February 6, 1925 in Maybee, MI, Ruth was the daughter of the late Leo and Frances (Leibold) Gramlich. She married William Kiebler, Jr. on August 28, 1954, in St. Joseph Catholic Church, Maybee. He preceded her in death on April 14, 2003.

Ruth was a member of St. Michael Catholic Church and its Altar Society. She was also a life member of VFW Post 1138 Ladies Auxiliary. Her hobbies included baking, crocheting, and enjoying time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Ruth is survived by three daughters, Bonnie Wrobel of Sylvania, OH, Joyce (Phillip Kull) Kiebler of Monroe, and Janice Amazeen of Austin, TX;
three grandchildren, Kelly (Andrei) Kotchetov, Jeffrey (Jill) Wrobel, and Ryan Amazeen;
four great-grandchildren, Nikolai Kotchetov, Helena Kotchetov, John Wrobel, and Jaxson Wrobel.

In addition to her parents and husband, Ruth was also preceded in death by four brothers, Clyde, Arthur, Kenneth and Leo Gramlich; a sister, Camilla Goodnough; and son-in-law, Bob Wrobel.

Memorial donations are suggested to St. Michael Church, Great Lakes Hospice or the Humane Society of Monroe County.

Family and friends may visit from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday at Rupp Funeral Home. The ladies of St. Michael's Altar Society will recite the Rosary at 4 p.m. Ruth will lie in state at 9 a.m. Saturday at St. Michael Catholic Church where Mass of the resurrection will be celebrated at 10 a.m. The church pastor, Rev. Philip Ching and Rev. Stephen Rooney will concelebrate. Burial and committal service will take place at 1:30 p.m. at St. Joseph Cemetery in Maybee for anyone wishing to attend.
