When THOMAS MEESE was born in 1811 in Brockmoor, Staffordshire, his father, JAMES, was 31 and his mother, MARY, was 31. He married DIANA CATHERINE BARNBROOK my gg'mother and they had one daughter together who lived to the age of 34 and through whom he inherited the Pottery at Silver Street, Silver End via her father JOHN BARNBROOK. He then married Catherine Price on October 29, 1844, in Kingswinford, Staffordshire. He died on October 11, 1882, in Staffordshire, at the age of 71 from blood poisoning after being hit on the head by a rusty corrugated sheet in a high wind. . Wordsley Parish Churchyard : Sacred to the memory of Catherine Worrington adopted child of Thomas & Catherine Meese.
