He was a retired millwright from American Airlines. He was also a member of Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church. Bernard is survived by his wife, Barbara Vitt; his children, Larry Vitt, Jeff Vitt, Danna Vitt, Debbie Wayman and Kim Harrison; his siblings, Don Vitt and John Vitt. He was preceded in death by his parents and his siblings, Helen Vitt, Walter Vitt, Paul Vitt and Gretchen (Vitt) Belfield.
