He was born on November 24, 1931 in Prairie du Chien, Wisconsin to Kilian and Sadie (Grover) Michel. He married Alice Pease on June 10, 1960, He worked in his own excavating business for a number of years after he got married. He later went to work for the Village of Lynxville for about thirty-five years. He retired at the age of eighty.
His favorite hobby was wood working. He built the house in which he and his wife live.
He is survived by his wife, Alice; and one sister: Catherine Copsey, of Soldiers Grove.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and one sister, Velma Michel.
There will be a memorial service on Saturday, February 16, 2019 at 1 P.M. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses at 1815 South 11th Street in Prairie du Chien, Wisconsin.
