Born in Hartford, daughter of the late Joseph and Stephania (Tajimajir) Krolikowski, she was raised in Simsbury and graduated from Simsbury High School.
She married Edmund June 26, 1948 and together they moved to Avon in the home they built in 1954.
Caroline was employed by the Simsbury Bank and Westminster School before a forty-year career as a legal secretary for the Law Office of the late Robert August in Avon.
Extremely proud of her Polish heritage, she was an accomplished seamstress making all her children's costumes and many of their clothes.
She was a member of the Woman's Auxiliary of the Destroyer Escort Sailors Association which her late husband Ed took great pride in as a WWII Navy veteran.
She was a communicant of the Church of Saint Ann and a member of the Saint Ann's Ladies Guild for many years.
She leaves two sons Edmund J. Sikora and his wife Pamela of West Simsbury and Raymond J. Sikora and his wife Virginia of Burlington; two daughters Nancy A. Zickefoose and her husband Earl of Granby and Carol M. Sikora of Suffield; two sisters Nellie Glemboski of Avon and Irene Lewchik of Berlin; seven grandchildren; two step grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.
Besides her husband Ed who passed away in 2005, she was predeceased by a brother Joseph Krolikowski and sisters Mary Dubowski, Jennie Rudzinski, and Agnes Ksiazek.
Her family will receive friends at the Carmon Funeral Home & Family Center, Avon.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at the Church of Saint Ann, Avon.
Burial will follow in St. Ann Cemetery, next to her beloved husband, Ed.
