Ole participated in the 8th Congress-Bundestag-Exchange-Program (CBYX) in 1991/92. He was located in Iowa and went to college in Muscatine. He died in the same car-accident as Michael Essmann from Coesfeld who participated in the same program and lived in Illinois.
