JACOB KAESTLE, 83, died yesterday in a nursing home, Central Square, following a long illness.
Mr. Kaestle was born in Germany and had lived in this country most of his life. He is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Jacob Hafner of Liverpool; a sister who lives in Germany; six grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
Services will be conducted Friday at a time to be announced. Burial will be in the North Syracuse Cemetery. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. today and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. tomorrow at the Traugott & Lohman Funeral Home, 516 Prospect Ave.
