Mr. Fernando Soto 24 of Winston Salem, NC, passed away on April 28, 2019.

He was born in Surry County on September 7, 1994 to Felipe Soto Sr. and Joann Jackson.

Fernando was a loving son, brother, father, uncle and cousin he loved his family. Growing up he had a love for sports, he played basketball and football in high school. Most of all, he had a love for music and gifted and talented in expressing himself through rapping and singing, which he was inspired his younger brother Carlos. Fernando and Carlos were always rapping together uplifting one another through life itself. Fernando was never the type not to tell you he loved you. He made sure he told you he loved you every time he ended a conversation. A smile that no one will ever forget. Fernando’s smile would brighten up anyone’s day, with his goofy personality that kept everyone laughing and smiling. Although he never got the chance to see his baby girl, he loved both daughters A ‘miracle and A’myrella. Throughout his trails and tribulations and trying to overcome things that were tough in his life. He always told his mother how much he loved his children and wanted to be in their lives. He loved the mother of his children Alisha, the love of his life. He was very protective over his brothers and sisters. He would always pick on his brother Lucio hands about how big they were. Fernando loved each and every one of us. He will always be the missing piece of the puzzle in our family.

He leave cherish his memories his mother Joann Jackson Soto of Elkin, NC, two daughters A ‘miracle Soto- Hughes and A’myriella Soto-Hughes, eight sisters and brothers Jessica Jackson of Mount Airy, NC, Monica Soto of Winston Salem, NC, Felipe Soto Jr of Winston Salem, NC, Carlos Soto of Mount Airy, NC, Juliea Soto of Winston Salem, NC David Rodriguez, Concepcion Rodriguez and Magdaleno all of Elkin, two aunts Alfreda(Joe) Wright and Gloria (Grady) France, four uncles Ricky Jackson (Ann), Robert Jackson, Robert Jackson, Larry Jackson and Jimmy Jackson (Penny).

He was preceded in death by one sister Deanna Soto and two uncles Ray Jackson and Eugene Jackson.

Funeral services were conducted on Saturday May 4, 2019 at Spencer Funeral Home, 824 N. Main Street Mount Airy, NC at 2:00pm Rev. Harold Small was the eulogist.

Burial was made in Mountain View Cemetery, Mount Airy, NC.

The family received friends from 1:00pm until 2:00pm prior to the funeral service.

Spencer Funeral Directors are in charge of all services and arrangements.
