PLYMOUTH — Elizabeth (Sheppard) Greger, 87, former Terryville resident, widow of Adolph Greger, died Monday, June 18, 2007, at Bristol Hospital.
Mrs. Greger was born Sept. 13, 1919, in New Britain. She was the daughter of the late Adolph and Emily (Grobek) Sheppard. Prior to her retirement she worked for the O.Z. Gedney Co. of Terryville. She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Terryville and a former member of the Terryville/Plymouth Senior Citizens.
She was the beloved mother of Roger Greger of Terryville, Paul Greger of Las Vegas, Kathleen Kelley and her husband, Philip, of Plymouth, and Carol Greger of Ashville, N.C. She also leaves her sister, Gertrude Zitzkat of Arizona; her grandson, Scott Milliken; two great-grandchildren, Katelin and Tyler; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Terryville. Burial will be in Hillside Cemetery, Terryville. Friends may call at the Scott Funeral Home, 169 Main St., Terryville, tonight from 7 to 9 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to St. Paul Lutheran Church Building Fund, 132 Main St., Terryville 06786.
