Funeral services for Mrs. August Haack, 70, were held at 10 a.m. Monday, May 29 [1967] at St. Mary’s Catholic Church here. Rt. Rev. Msgr. F. P. Schultes officiated and burial was in St. Mary’s cemetery.

Mrs. Haack died Friday, May 26 [1967] at her home in Remsen. She had been in failing health for some time.

Katherine Haack was born August 3, 1896 at Remsen, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Frank Stuntebeck. She married August Haack on October 10, 1925 at Remsen and had lived in Remsen all her life.
She was a member of the Christian Mothers of the Women’s Catholic Order of Foresters.

Surviving are her husband, August; her daughter, Mrs. Mildred Helmie of Washington and his daughter, Mrs. Lois Triggs of Washington; four sisters, Mrs. Henry Krogman, Mrs. Wm. Beckmann, Mrs. Peter Lanners and Mrs. Fred Arens, all of Remsen.

The Fisch Funeral Home of Remsen was in charge of arrangements.
